Colorado 14er (Class 2-3)

What it takes
Colorado has 58 peaks above 14,000 feet, and 500,000 summit attempts are made each year. Class 2-3 14ers involve trail hiking with some scrambling and route-finding, demanding cardiovascular fitness at altitude and basic mountain awareness. 40% of 14er hikers are over 40, and the growing +8% annual participation shows no sign of slowing.
