PADI Rescue Diver
The course that separates recreational divers from serious ones. Rescue Diver training teaches you to prevent and manage diving emergencies — recognising diver stress, performing in-water rescues, managing unconscious divers at the surface, administering emergency oxygen, and coordinating search patterns. Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water certification plus Emergency First Response (CPR/first aid). You need a minimum of 20 logged dives. The final assessment involves realistic emergency scenarios — panicked divers, missing buddy searches, and unconscious diver recovery — where hesitation means failure.
