SoCal Surf Trip

What it takes
I've been camping here for the last 20 years, about three times a year. Camping overnight (or longer) at the San Ononfre state beach (car/tent, camper, RV), gives you time to surf in the morning and again in the late afternoon. You can also bike or hike parallel to the beach. Incredible views, usually gentle surf, lots of friendly campers and day surfers to socialize with. Sunsets do NOT disappoint. The campsites are up on a bluff and then you walk down a wide dirt trail to the beach.
Injury Prevention for This Adventure
These are the most common injuries for water athletes over 50. A few minutes of targeted prehab each week can keep you on track.
