Appalachian Trail: Section Hike
Pick a section of the 2,190-mile trail that runs from Georgia to Maine and walk it. The White Mountains of New Hampshire, the Smokies, or the approach to Katahdin in Maine are the classic choices. Rocky, rooted terrain with significant elevation change — this is not a flat path. Shelters every 8–15 miles. Resupply in trail towns.
