Race Across America (RAAM)
What it takes
The Race Across America covers 3,000+ miles and 175,000 feet of climbing across 13 states from Oceanside, California to Atlantic City, New Jersey. The clock runs continuously from start to finish — the winner typically finishes in 8-9 days, riding around 22 hours per day. That makes it 30% longer than the Tour de France, completed in half the time. Solo and relay formats are available; solo requires a qualifying event. You need a full support crew and follow vehicle.
